 Todd Bentley was born January 10, 1976 and born again between Christmas 1993 and January 1994. He was raised in Gibson, British Columbia on the Canadian West Coast. His parents divorced and by Bentley’s own admission he was a deeply troubled youth.  The abused son of an alcoholic, his past included Satanic worship, drugs, alcohol, criminal burglary, abuse of his deaf mother, assault, involvement in a sexual assault ring, and several stints in youth prison.

The arrogance of these men in the apostolic and prophetic movement never ceases to amaze me.  I watched a short video clip on YouTube of Todd Bentley describing his self sufficiency and even though I have come to expect bizarre and heretical statements from him,  it did surprise even me.
