I hadn't read any of Rick Joyner's stuff for years,nor had I gone to his website until I started checking out blogs about the Bentley/Lakeland phenomena. When I saw this statement on RJ's site I was astounded at his statement about God being divorced... somehow in some weird twisted way condoning Bentley's impending? divorce or divorce in general because "God is divorced." This "interpretation" of scripture is laughable. I'm with the commentor who said their RJ books were headed for the trash.

RJ would do well to heed the words in his own book where he states that the Lord rebuked him for thinking he would not succumb to pride if praised/looked up to by many people.
