Thank you, Jacob...this was brilliant. I was sent that tedious diatribe by Greig last week by someone who is seeking to defend Bentley and his deluded followers who are trying bring this stuff into our area. I am completely dumfounded as to why the whole occult connection to the Lakeland "experience" seems to escape so many. I am convinced though it is not an intellectual problem at the core; it has to do with covetousness and idolatry. Each time I hear and see those who are supporting Bentley, such as the "heavies"
like Peter Wagner, Joyner, Arnott...their self importance and lust is nauseating. Yet they have the ability to control crowds, as they
just ooze with self confidence and false humility.
We love Israel, and it is one of my life's goals to visit. I have for years (on my own) studied the Hebrew roots of scripture, and it is like finding an unending treasure...even if I had several lifetimes just studying the Word, I would still be just scratching the surface. Shalom
