The arrogance of these men in the apostolic and prophetic movement never ceases to amaze me.  I watched a short video clip on YouTube of Todd Bentley describing his self sufficiency and even though I have come to expect bizarre and heretical statements from him,  it did surprise even me. 

In this clip Bentley boldy states that in those times that God is not moving he depends on his gift.  Is this not as much as admitting that it is not God moving but Todd? Af if that is not bad enough,  he then he gets hmself in deeper by stating that in those times that God is not moving that he moves God.  Uhhh excuse me Todd but that is GOD you are talking about- THE God- you know - the one responsible for the very air in your lungs.  For you to believe that somehow you could MAKE him move in your services is laughable at best. We are subservient to God NOT his equal and we do not get to tell him what to do!  We can ask, we can pray, we can petition, but we do not ever get to DEMAND. Which leads me to this question.  Has Todd reduced God to his cosmic bellhop?
