Statement of Faith

  •  I believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testament contain the Word of God.  As such, the Bible is without error, in the original writings, and therefore our supreme, divine, and final authority in all matters that it addresses.
  • I believe all scripture is God breathed and that these scriptures are complete, needing no new revelation.  (Progressive revelation)
  • I believe in One God, supreme in all things, perfect and eternal existing in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • I believe that Jesus was the Messiah, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for my sins according to Scripture. Furthermore, I believe that He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now sits on the Right Hand of the Father.
  • I believe that it is ONLY through the shed blood of Jesus that there is forgiveness and the remittance of sin. I furthermore believe that we must publically confess Jesus as our Lord to gain Salvation.
  • I believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly living and service.
  • I believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed but do not lead to Salvation
  • I believe in the personal, pre-millennial and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
  • I believe that miracles, signs and wonders have not ceased but will be used by the enemy to ensnare the church in the “great deception” it is therefore critical to remain vigilant and test all spirits in light of scripture to ensure that they be from God.
  • I believe in the bodily resurrection of the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord.  I furthermore believe there will be a sentencing of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
