What the heck is a shoomba? It sounds like it could be related to voodoo? I just did a google search, and here's some info:

Haaa I thought your post was a joke until I looked up your links.  I am not sure what a Shoomba impartation is either but I am fairly sure I don't want it.  I must tell you though I was relieved to hear that the Shoomba kept away the bad JuJu - there is NOTHING worse than bad JuJu

Just because it's a supernatural training school doesn't mean it won't be grounded in the word. I checked out the site and guess what??..there's a whole lot you chose to ignore, yeah, that's right, you leave out what is really being said and pick out phrases and words to suit your argument. well here is a copy of what they say about the school:

I don't think we have to look too far into this to see an Eastern mysticism/contemplative spirituality connection in all of this. Thanks for doing all the footwork!

Anon- This was taken from the VIDEO and I believe that I placed a link to it so people could verify what I said.  Nothing I stated was untrue.  I have been a part of these so called ministry schools in the past when  I was deeply entrenched in this movement.  I am very familiar with what goes on- there is very little scripture ( if any) and the scipture they do use is stretched very thin so they can wrap it around their abberant doctrines. There was no play on words- it was taken word for word from the video.

I was told by a "Bentleyite" minister that BAM meant "Big Awesome Miracles".

Myself, I thought it meant "Bogus Arrogant Ministry".

At first I thought you were joking, Bryant S. But if you had been, I am sure your comment would not get posted. Sad that that is true about the sanskrit meaning of bham bham. This youth ministry is dangerous spiritually, but as an admitted sexual assaulter of a minor (Todd as per Charisma mag interview), this could be dangerous physically and psychologically, too. I know that this criminal act has been paid for and forgiveness is in order, but when are we to put ourselves in temptation's way? And when is forgiveness to be expressed in foolishness by allowing our teens to be led and supervised by a former paedophile? This youth ministry is greivious at every level.
